Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club has a proud history, and it's a history we celebrate by being part of the "1892 Club". As the name suggests this consists of a number of golf clubs, spread throughout the UK, which were also formed in 1892. Taunton & Pickeridge is the only private members club in the area and we offer a superb 18 hole course, which is playable all year round. The views are spectacular, the surroundings peaceful, and you’ll find everyone here incredibly welcoming.

Club Captain for the 2025/2026 season is Trevor French, who is the members' representative on our Board of Directors.

At Taunton & Pickeridge, we provide the perfect blend of competitive or social golf – whatever your standard. From our very strong junior section to our active and competitive Ladies and Senior sections, members enjoy great golf on a quality course. The Club boasts 2 Mens’ Avalon Teams, the Stags & the Bucks, 2 Senior Men's Avalon League Teams and the Ladies also play in the Inter Club League and the Wessex League. Each Section boasts a host of friendly matches too, all of which provide social golf and camaraderie at local clubs.

We run up to 5 competitions a week, many of which are multi-gender, so there are plenty of opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.

We also have a very successful and well supported PGA Pro-AM in July each year which regularly hosts one of the largest fields in the South West.
