Here at Taunton & Pickeridge we are extremely proud to run a hugely successful Academy programme, helping to introduce new players to the wonderful game of golf.

To that end we have developed a simple “golfer’s pathway”. This system allows players to see how they may progress from beginner to competent golfer and also to explore what membership and coaching options may suit them during this process.

Step 1: Get Into Golf Beginner Lessons

A 5 week ‘Get into golf’ programme with no obligation to join. You’ll experience our facilities and learn the basics of the game of golf in a friendly, engaging group environment all for £50. No equipment? No problem, we can provide all of this for you.

Simply fill out your details, including a contact number & Ali will be in touch closer to the class date with a short courtesy call to put you at ease, the initial £50 will be payable at your first class date.

Step 2: Academy Membership

Hopefully you loved your first 5 weeks, so we have a package for you! Academy membership will give you off peak access to the course, plus individual tuition. We’ll assess your strengths and weaknesses as your golf improves helping you find your feet in the game, mentoring you every step of the way.

Ali will provide you with 6 x 1hrs individual coaching, offer roll-ups to play and meet other Academy members, rules & etiquette evenings, understanding the scorecard and different formats and much more.

6 months = £299 (including 3 hrs individual coaching)

12 months (1st April – 31st March) = £499 (including 6hrs individual coaching)

Must have completed Step 1 to be eligible for Academy Membership

So your Academy membership has expired, no problem. We are confident that with our tutorship you will be ready to continue your journey within golf by joining the club as a playing member. We pride ourselves on being a warm, welcoming club where no question is too ridiculous!
